Terms of Service

The agreement between you and eatrading.ai when you use our website, create an account, or run our Expert Advisor on your MT5 terminal. Written in plain English on purpose.

Last updated: 14 May 2026 · Effective immediately for new accounts

01Acceptance

By creating an account, downloading our software, or running our Expert Advisor (the EA), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service. We refer to ourselves as eatrading.ai, we, or us. We refer to you as you or the user.

These terms form a legally binding contract. Read them once carefully — you don't need a lawyer to follow them, but a lawyer wouldn't hurt if you trade at scale.

02What you're licensing

Our product is Quant AI Agents, an Expert Advisor for the MetaTrader 5 (MT5) trading platform. When you buy a license, you receive:

  • A copy of the EA binary (.ex5) that runs locally on your MT5 terminal
  • Activation for the number of MT5 accounts your plan allows
  • Access to a library of pre-tested prompt configurations
  • Free version 1.x updates (point releases — bug fixes, new strategies, broker tweaks)

You do not receive: source code, the right to redistribute, or any guarantee of trading results. The EA queries an AI model for trade decisions using your own API key — see Bring-your-own API keys.

03Eligibility & account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to trade derivatives in your country. You're responsible for confirming that retail forex, CFDs, and algorithmic trading are legal where you live. Some jurisdictions (US retail forex, for example) impose restrictions on leverage and broker choice that may make this product unsuitable for you.

One account per person. Pick a strong password — 8 characters minimum, longer is better. You're responsible for everything that happens under your login.

04License & permitted use

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run the EA on the number of MT5 accounts your plan allows, for as long as you comply with these terms. You may:

  • Run the EA on live or demo MT5 accounts (within your activation cap)
  • Adjust inputs, prompts, and risk settings as you see fit
  • Use trading results — wins, losses, equity curves — for your own records and marketing

You may not:

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or extract the underlying logic of the EA
  • Resell, sublicense, lease, rent, or give away the EA or your activation
  • Share screenshots of internal prompt text, signal logic, or AI decision payloads in a way that lets others replicate the strategy without buying a license
  • Use the EA on managed funds, prop firm challenges, or third-party accounts you don't personally own without our written permission

05Bring-your-own API keys (BYOK)

The EA needs an AI model to make trade decisions. You provide your own API key — typically DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic, or another supported provider — and that key stays on your terminal. We do not proxy your AI calls, we do not store the keys server-side, and we do not bill you per query.

You're responsible for:

  • Topping up credit at your AI provider — typical cost is a few US dollars a month at standard prompt frequency
  • Complying with your provider's usage policies (rate limits, prohibited use, jurisdictional restrictions)
  • Rotating your key if it leaks; we cannot help you recover a leaked key
Why BYOK Your key, your bill, your control. If we ever go offline, your EA still runs because the AI call goes from your machine straight to your provider. No middleman, no margin on tokens.

06Payments & refunds

The license is a one-time payment of $299 USD, currently accepted by USDT/BTC or PayPal at checkout. There is no recurring subscription. We don't store card details — payment processors handle that.

Refund window. If you decide the EA isn't for you, request a refund within 7 calendar days of purchase by emailing us. You'll get a full refund as long as you have not used the EA on a live (real-money) account. Activations on demo accounts do not disqualify a refund.

Chargebacks. Please contact us before filing a chargeback. We refund quickly when the request is reasonable; chargebacks force us to revoke your license and may affect future purchases.

Taxes. Where required, sales tax / VAT will be added at checkout based on your billing country. You are responsible for any income or capital-gains tax on your trading.

07No financial advice

This is the most important section, so read it twice.

Risk disclosure Trading forex, gold, indices, and CFDs carries substantial risk and can lose your entire investment — and more, depending on your broker's margin terms. Backtest results, including any figures shown on our website, do not guarantee future returns. AI-driven decisions can be wrong, sometimes very wrong, sometimes in clusters. Quant AI Agents is a tool to support your judgment, not a replacement for it. Test on a demo account before going live. Never trade money you cannot afford to lose. Where appropriate, consult a licensed financial advisor.

Nothing on our website, in our documentation, or generated by the EA is investment advice. We are a software vendor, not a broker, not a fund manager, not a licensed advisor. Trade decisions executed by the EA are your decisions — you configured the inputs, you connected the API key, you chose to leave it running.

08MT5 binding & activation

Each license activation binds the EA to a specific MT5 account number. The standard plan allows up to 20 accounts. You can move an activation off an old account and onto a new one by contacting support; please don't try to brute-force activations on accounts you don't intend to keep, as repeated rebinding looks like resale.

If your broker forces an account migration (server merge, account-number change), we'll move your activation for free.

09Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the EA to manipulate markets, front-run liquidity providers, or run any scheme that violates your broker's terms
  • Interfere with the website (scraping at abusive rates, denial-of-service attempts, exploiting bugs without disclosure)
  • Use the service in any jurisdiction where the underlying activity is illegal
  • Misrepresent the EA's capabilities to others (e.g. selling a "guaranteed-profit" repackage of our work)

We may suspend or revoke access if we believe in good faith that you've crossed any of these lines, with or without notice depending on severity.

10Intellectual property

The EA, the website, the prompt library, the visual design, the documentation — all the original work we've produced — is owned by eatrading.ai. Your license under section 4 doesn't transfer ownership. Third-party trademarks (MetaTrader, broker names, AI providers) belong to their respective owners; we use them descriptively for compatibility purposes only.

If you give us feedback, bug reports, or suggestions, we may use that input freely in our product without owing you anything for it (we still appreciate it — credit goes in changelogs).

11Termination

You can stop using the service any time — delete your account from the dashboard, remove the EA from MT5. You won't get an automatic refund outside the 7-day window described in section 6.

We can terminate your access if you breach these terms, with notice where practical. Sections that should reasonably survive termination — license restrictions, IP, disclaimers, liability cap, governing law — survive.

12Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or any warranty arising from course of dealing or trade usage. We don't warrant that the EA will be profitable, error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every broker, every symbol, every market regime.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, eatrading.ai's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (which for a one-time license is $299 USD).

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, punitive, or exemplary damages — including lost profits, lost trading capital, slippage, broker outages, AI provider downtime, or losses caused by your own configuration choices — even if we've been advised of the possibility.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations. Where that's the case, our liability is limited to the maximum extent that jurisdiction allows.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which eatrading.ai is established (currently Vietnam), without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless local consumer-protection law in your country grants you stronger rights — in which case those rights apply.

You agree not to bring class-action claims against us. Individual claims only.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms — usually to clarify language, add a payment method, or respond to a regulatory change. Material changes will be flagged on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, for active accounts, an email notification or in-app banner. Continuing to use the service after a material change means you accept it. If you don't accept a change, stop using the service.

15Contact
